Date: 04/10/2025 Topic: The Spirit of the One-Talent Servant Bible Verse: Matthew 25:14–30 🕊️ I've heard someone say, “God's blessings is not distributed evenly.” Whether it was said to excuse responsibilities, to measure the standard of wealth, or to justify staying small — what I see is that the spirit of the one-talent servant operates among those whom God has placed much upon. The one-talent servant did not only come to his Lord with excuses for his inability to invest the talent; he came and began to distort facts to soothe his own narrative, saying his Lord was “a harsh man, reaping where he did not sow and gathering where he did not harvest.” He was projecting his own inadequacies onto his Master. To what end — and to whose peril? Sometimes we are angry at God for what we call small blessings, poor backgrounds, or personal limitations.
