It can feel humiliating to keep hoping, especially when their actions seem to spit on your patience. But God doesn’t show us their brokenness so we can walk away—He shows us so we can pray, intercede, and wait with purpose. The stretching of your heart in those moments may feel like suffering, but heaven sees it as strength. It is not forever. And when God restores, it is never too late. The Word assures us again in Isaiah 40:31, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles… Waiting in God's terms is a position of rising, not sinking. The word “wait” in Isaiah 49:23—They shall not be ashamed that wait for Me—is translated from the Hebrew word qāwāh, which means to stretch like a cord pulled tight. When He asked her to call her husband, she revealed the truth about her past, and Jesus gently exposed the reality of her situation. Think about it - this woman had been through so much, with five previous husbands and now living with someone who wasn't her husband. It's likely her self-worth was tainted, and her self-esteem was low. But Jesus saw beyond her struggles. He saw a woman yearning for something more, something that would bring her true fulfillment. Just as a blocked channel hinders the flow of water, our minds can be clogged with outdated perspectives and past hurts. But Jesus is all about unblocking those channels, filtering out the debris, and bringing clarity to our lives. Topic: Emerging from Adversity Date: 4/5/2025 Bible Reference: Isaiah 6:8    Emerging from adversity and trusting in a fulfilling life may seem impossible to many, especially when they lack support. But is the issue more about people's unwillingness to commit or their lack of grounding to assist with future visions? I resonate with the wisdom found in the Book of Isaiah, which asks, "Who will go and give the message if they have not been sent, and who is being sent who has not been called?" (Isaiah 6:8). It's clear that some individuals need inspiration and divine empowerment to embark on their journeys. While a forerunner often prepares the way – like John the Baptist for Jesus – you don't lack one either, and if you haven't found one yet, it does not mean you shouldn't take a step. Stay put, you are not alone. God can bring light and understanding even in challenging times. Although our obedience needs to be sincere and not  partly done. Sometimes, your obedience may just be about keeping still, aligning with God's vision, or seeking direction and pondering on the Word of God.   DATE: 7/03/2025  TOPIC: THE ARK AND ITS OCCUPANT REFERENCE: Genesis 6 , 7  &  8 God's mercy is evident in His actions. When we fall short, He doesn't completely abandon us. Instead, He waits for us to seek His help and mercy. The Bible says, "For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime" (Psalm 30:5). This principle of grace is something we can always rely on. The story of Noah's Ark illustrates this point. When God destroyed the world, He didn't eradicate everything.  He preserved Noah, his family, and two of every kind of animal, showcasing His mercy and desire to start anew. This teaches us the importance of staying committed to God's ways, even when the crowd may be misled.  Our devotion to Him and His Word will be rewarded.
